Our Staff 

Our staff is led by four veterinarians: 

Dr. Rachel Anderson, Dr. Jean Delong, Dr. Cindy Sapp

and Dr. Julie Fowler

Dr. Rachel Anderson graduated from Iowa State University in 1996.  Dr. Rachel has been working at Animal Medical Center since 1999 and bought the facility in 2000.  She currently lives in Noblesville with her husband, three children, and her many pets, which include: horses, dogs, cats, turtles, and a  bearded dragon.

Dr. Jean Delong  grew up in Springfield, OH where she  developed her love of animals and participated in 4-H horse programs. She is a 1996 graduate of The Ohio State University Veterinary School and has worked in the Indianapolis area since graduation. She first started working for Animal Medical Center in 2005.  Dr. Jean has also participated in animal behavior training programs with Dr. Andrew Leuscher, DVM, DACVB at Purdue University and offers pet behavior consult appointments.  Her hobbies include horseback back riding and learning how to play guitar.  She is married and has 2 daughters.

Dr. Cindy Sapp grew up in a very small farm town in central Illinois where she developed her love of animals. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois and has been with AMC since 2011. She has a special interest in feline medicine, but enjoys working with cats and dogs. At home, she has a husband, four children, three cats, and one dog to play fetch with. 

Dr. Julie Fowler is originally from the Indianapolis area. She attended North Central High School, then moved to Kansas City, MO and graduated from Blue Springs High School.

Dr Julie went to IU Bloomington and graduated with a B.S. in microbiology. While there, she met her husband. They lived in Nashville, TN for a few years while her husband attended law school at Vanderbilt. While in Nashville, Dr. Julie worked as a research technician.

Dr. Julie graduated from veterinary school at Purdue University in 2003. She joined the staff and AMC in August 2015. She lives in Zionsville with her husband, two daughters, a dog, Henry (a Golden Retriever) and Shadow the cat. Her hobbies are spending time with her girls, watching IU basketball and cooking.
